EMB Lodge
Mar 13-19, 2022   Week 10

Another week comes to an end and four more to go. Fishing was quite hard due to the high and dirty water.
Anyway, 111 fish landed. 24 fish over 15 pounds including 4 over 20 pounds.
Mike F. was the top rod with 20 fish landed.|
John S. landed the biggest fish: 24 pounds.

Water Conditions
Water color and visibility: Dirty water most of the week. Visibility was between 1 to 15 inches.
Water temperature: 3º C to 6ºC
Water level and amount of increase or decrease through the week: Water level dropped about 5 inches from Sunday to Tuesday. On Wednesday river raised 10 inches in a few hours due snow melt and rain.

Weather Conditions
Wind speed ranges through the week: up to 85 km/h
Air temperature ranges through the week: -4ºC to 12ºC.

Fishing Conditions
Flies that are working the best: Big and dark flies with dirty water. Intruders, leeches, tube flies.
Fly lines (tips, heads, lengths, densities, etc) that are producing the best: Skagit heads with different lengths of T-17 and T- 20.
Length and strength of tippet and leaders: 4 to 6 feet.12 to 20 pounds.

Number of anglers for the week: 12
Total number of fish landed for the week: 111Weight of the biggest fish landed for the week: 24 pounds.

EMB Lodge
Mar 19-26, 2022   Week 11

One of the best fishing weeks of the season just ended. Lots of fresh fish running into the river. Water is clearing up and dropping down fast.
162 fish landed! 12 fish over 15 pounds.
Maciej was top rod with 33 fish in the net, and landed the fish of the week: 19 pounds.   

Water Conditions
Water color and visibility: week started with 15 inches of visibility and ended with about 4 feet of visibility.
Water temperature: 3º C to 6ºC
Water level and amount of increase or decrease through the week: Water level dropped about 6 to 7 inches.

Weather Conditions
Wind speed ranges through the week: up to 50 km/h
Air temperature ranges through the week: -1ºC to 19ºC.

Fishing Conditions
Flies that are working the best: Big and dark flies with dirty water. Intruders, leeches, tube flies. Also black wooly buggers, yuk bug.
Fly lines (tips, heads, lengths, densities, etc) that are producing the best: Skagit heads with different lengths of T-17 and T- 20.
Length and strength of tippet and leaders: 4 to 6 feet.12 to 20 pounds.
