As of Nov 1, 2021, Argentina is open to international travelers. For those anglers eager to get back on the water, here is what you need to know regarding entry and exit requirements.
PRIOR TO ARRIVAL:
- Proof of full vaccination (vaccination card showing you got all the doses, depending on what vaccine you’ve chosen). Must have received the complete course at least 14 days prior to arrival in Argentina
- Negative PCR TEST taken within 72 hours prior to boarding the flight to Argentina. Know your local Covid lab’s turn around time for results and seek out a “rapid test” if needed.
- Health insurance with COVID-19 coverage
(Our clients will be advised on plans that cover medical, travel and quarantine costs related being infected with COVID-19.)
- Migrations affidavit submitted at https://ddjj.migraciones.gob.ar/app/home.php This must be done within, not more than, 48 hours prior to boarding the flight to Argentina. Travelers may be required to present the confirmation e-mail they receive from this system to board a flight. To avoid, frustrating glitches with the English version, try submitting the Spanish version of the form first.
Non-vaccinated travelers can also enter the country but must quarantine and take a test on the 7th day after arrival.
As of Nov 1, 2021, a negative PCR test result is no longer required by US Immigrations and Customs. If this changes, travelers will be notified.
Travelers returning to the UK or other countries should check their countries reentry requirements.
