Join FFP’s owner, Justi Campa, on our classic Expedition/Lodge Combo, Jan 6-14, 2018. On this trip, we’ll combine a 4 day Wilderness Fishing Expedition on the intimate Caleufu River with 4 days at the remote, Portillen Lodge. See the full itinerary below!
A 3 night/4 day float trip on Caleufu River offers anglers endless dry fly opportunities on secluded waters, spectacular scenery, delicious cuisine and our friendly camp crew to handle all chores. At the Portillen Lodge you will once again be off the beaten path, wading and floating a variety of less pressured trout waters while returning each evening to a beautiful lodge, warm staff, celebratory barbeques and cozy beds.
Our Caleufu River Expedition/ Portillen Lodge Combo combines the adventure of deluxe camping and superior fly fishing in Patagonia’s backcountry with a comfortable and secluded mountain lodge.

Jan 6-14, 2018
Jan 6 Arrive in Bariloche (BRC) from Buenos Aires. Airport pick up. Drive 10 minutes to a 4 star hotel. Your guide will pick you up around 7:30-8pm and take you out to our favorite restaurant.
Jan 7 9am hotel pick up and drive 2 hours to the river. Float/fish, make camp.
Jan 8-9 Two full days fishing, floating and camping.
Jan 10 Take off the river around 5-6pm. Transfer 3 hours to the Portillen Lodge.
Jan 11-13 Three full days fishing the Quillén, Aluminé and Calquifitra Rivers.
Jan 14 Check out. Our staff will transfer you 2.5 hours to the San Martin Airport for your flight home.
Rate: $4315/angler in double occupancy
Included: One night hotel, 4 nights at Portillen Lodge, all necessary camping equipment, all meals, spirits, beer and wine, guided fishing, ground transportation in Patagonia.
Not included: Air travel and related costs, travel insurance, snacks and beverages at hotel, gear, fishing license ($100), optional gratuities, on-site itinerary modifications, and refunds for missed activities due to rescheduled flights. All services in Buenos Aires.
